Report: global cryptocurrency trading volume expected to exceed $108 trillion this year

A recent report by Coinwire shows that global cryptocurrency trading volume is expected to exceed $108 trillion in 2024, a 90 percent increase from 2022, according to Crypto Briefing. The U.S. has the highest estimated cryptocurrency trading volume in 2024 at over $2 trillion.

Cryptocurrency trading volume transactions have grown 42% since 2023, and the overall market has grown 89% over the past three years. By continent, Europe accounted for 37.32% of global trading volume, followed by Asia with 36.17%. This growth reflects the increasing acceptance and adoption of digital assets globally.
