News on July 16, Starknet plans to launch STRK staking function in Q4, which will allow innovative business logic and use cases, enhance the utility of STRK, and contribute to the gradual decentralization of this network. In this initial stage, neither StarkWare nor the Starknet Foundation will participate in staking, so they are not eligible for staking rewards. Moreover, all locked tokens at that time will be unable to participate in staking.
