U.S. core PCE annual rate in May drops to a new low of over three years
The U.S. core PCE price index recorded an annual rate of 2.6% in May, the smallest increase since March 2021. The U.S. core PCE price index recorded a monthly rate of 0.1% in May, the smallest increase since November 2023.
