Yushin Bank forecasts eurozone inflation may ease in June
Eurozone inflation may ease in June, to be released next Tuesday, bringing the rate closer to the European Central Bank's 2% target, economists at Yusen Bank predicted in a report. Eurozone CPI is expected to grow at an annual rate of 2.5% in June, with core CPI stabilizing at 2.9%. This trend is expected to continue in the coming months, with eurozone inflation falling below 2% next year as wage growth slows and companies absorb higher costs. Inflation in the eurozone has slowed down but is not off the rails, says Yuzhmorgeologiya.
