CISA: Cryptocurrency scams impersonating government agents surge

Odaily News The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has issued an alert about impersonation scams that often use the names and titles of government employees. CISAs alert explains that its staff will never ask for money, whether in cash,
cryptocurrency, or using gift cards. Meanwhile, Phil Larratt, director of investigations at Chainalysis, explained that scams remain a major threat to the entire (crypto) ecosystem, bringing in at least $4.6 billion in revenue in 2023. (cointelegraph)
