ZK Nation: zksync delegate registration to open next week
June 14 (Bloomberg) -- Starting next week, any individual or organization can act as a ZKsync proxy, even if they don't own ZKsync protocol tokens, ZK Nation said on the X platform. All they need is an EVM-compatible wallet to receive proxy votes from token holders. Token holders can delegate their voting rights to registered proxies, who are responsible for participating in the ZKsync governance process on behalf of their proxies. Token holders can also choose to become their own proxies and vote directly, with proxies speaking in proportion to the number of proxies they have delegated, with 1 token equaling 1 vote.
In the upcoming claiming process, token holders can easily discover registered proxies. Token holders can browse the profiles of registered delegates in the ZKsync Governance Portal and delegate delegates to those who align with their values and interests.
