BIS: 94% of central banks are exploring CBDCs
In a recent survey, the Bank for International Settlements found that 94% of central banks are exploring central bank digital currencies CBDCs, and the central banks surveyed also said they would likely issue wholesale CBDCs for institutions before issuing retail CBDCs.
