BlackRock US ETF Head: Bitcoin is the most widely adopted digital asset in the world
On April 18th, Jay Jacobs, head of BlackRock's US thematic and alternative ETFs, stated that Bitcoin is the most widely adopted digital asset in the world. Jacobs discussed Bitcoin's decentralized nature and explained the "innovative structure" of blockchain technology; emphasizing the transparency and security created by this characteristic, as well as why it strengthens Bitcoin's overall importance in the industry.
Jacobs stated that today, many people believe that Bitcoin is not just a payment method. Some investors see Bitcoin as a store of value, a potential hedge against inflation, and a bet on blockchain innovation and adoption.
