The U.S. SEC issues a Wells notice to Uniswap
On April 11, PANews reported that Hayden Adams, the founder of Uniswap, tweeted that Uniswap Labs received a Wells Notice from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today. He was not surprised by this but felt angry and disappointed and prepared to fight back. He stated that he believes the products they provide are legal and their work is on the right side of history. However, it's clear that for some time now, SEC has not been committed to establishing clear and wise rules but decided to focus on attacking long-term builders like Uniswap and Coinbase.
