There are currently 1,725 blocks left before Bitcoin’s fourth halving
There are currently less than 2 weeks until Bitcoin’s fourth halving occurs. With 1,725 blocks remaining, the fourth halving is expected to be completed on April 20.
Block halving refers to the process of reducing the amount of digital currency generated per unit time, mainly by reducing block rewards. To date, the Bitcoin network has experienced three halvings in 2012, 2016 and 2020.
