According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 93.0%, and the cumulative probability of a rate cut by 25 basis points is 7.0%. The likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates until June is at 30.6%, with a cumulative chance for a rate cut by 25 basis points standing at 64.7% and that for a reduction by 50 basis points being at 4.7%.
