Do Kwon will be released from Montenegro prison but will not be allowed to leave the country
According to Mars Finance news, Terraform co-founder Do Kwon will be released from prison in Montenegro, but he will remain in the Balkans as he faces criminal charges filed by authorities in several countries. Montenegro's High Court on Friday ordered the seizure of Kwon's passport to prevent him from leaving the country. According to the court order, Kwon will leave Spuž prison on Saturday. Prosecutors opposed Kwon's extradition to South Korea, preferring that he be sent to the United States, where he could face a longer prison term if convicted.
