Ethereum Foundation Launches First Round of ZK Grants with a $900,000 Prize Pool
The Ethereum Foundation has announced the opening of the first round of ZK Grants. In collaboration with Aztec, Polygon, Scroll, Taiko, and zkSync, the Ethereum Foundation has initiated this funding program to encourage research and development in zero-knowledge proofs and ZK L2 standards. This round of collaborative grants marks the first phase of the Ecosystem Support Program, utilizing funds and technical expertise from participants in L2. Each sponsor and the Ethereum Foundation have contributed $150,000 to the shared prize pool, totaling $900,000. The application window will be open for four weeks, starting from February 21, 2024, and ending on March 18, 2024.
