The amount of ETH staked has exceeded 25% of the supply
Data shows that after the Ethereum Shapella upgrade nearly a year ago, the amount of ETH staked has reached 30.14 million coins, valued at approximately $73 billion. At this point, the amount of staked ETH exceeds 25% of the supply, with 942,023 individual validators participating in staking. Since the Ethereum Shapella upgrade, there has been a net inflow of 10.25 million ETH in staking. However, provided staking rewards have significantly decreased as increased participation in staking typically leads to lower rewards for each validator. The staking reward rate has dropped from a peak of 8.6% post-Shapella era to below 4% currently. Lido Finance validators currently hold over 31% of ETH stakes.
