CME: 19.5% probability of Fed rate cut in March, 66.8% cumulative probability of rate cut in May
CME "Fed Watch" data show that the Federal Reserve in March to maintain interest rates unchanged in the range of 5.25%-5.50% probability of 80.5%, the probability of a 25 basis point cut in interest rates is 19.5%. The probability of keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 33.2 per cent, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 55.3 per cent, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 11.5 per cent.
