Reuters: It may take several months for the options products of the US Bitcoin spot ETF to be approved
According to Reuters, several industry insiders have stated that the options products of the new US spot Bitcoin ETF may take months to obtain regulatory approval, which could weaken the attractiveness of its underlying product.
An insider revealed that products related to the spot Bitcoin ETF may raise issues regarding jurisdiction and regulation, which are still being addressed by the CFTC. Another insider disclosed that some exchange executives will soon meet with CFTC officials to discuss this matter.
