Aave initiated a proposal for conducting Frontier testing on the collateralization service
Snapshot shows that Aave has initiated a proposal to launch the Frontier test for staking services. This service aims to further decentralize the protocol's staking risk exposure and actively participate in network security affairs. The Aave Chan Initiative (ACI) will represent Aave DAO in operating staking nodes and running validator nodes, enhancing the DAO's passive income and promoting diversified staking strategies. The proposal states that from simply acquiring liquidity staking tokens (LST) such as stETH and rETH to actively running validator nodes, Frontier represents an important step towards further participation in Ethereum network decentralization and security. If the proposal is approved, 32 small-scale nodes will be operated for testing purposes.
