Eric Balchunas: Although some evidence points to a hacker attack, I still insist that the tweets come from within the SEC
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas initiated a poll on his social media asking "Where do you think the 'approved' tweet came from?" Among them, 82.3% of the votes came from within the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, while 17.7% of the votes were outside the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Eric Balchunas said that although there is some evidence pointing to a hacker attack, I stick to my original theory (for now) that it comes from inside the SEC, where a scheduled tweet went wrong.
