On December 13, analyst James Seyffart stated on social media that in the past few days, four issuers have met with the SEC regarding spot Bitcoin ETF applications. BlackRock had its third meeting with the SEC within a few weeks yesterday. Meanwhile, Grayscale, Franklin and Fidelity all met with the SEC last week. The SEC's Division of Trading and Markets and Division of Corporation Finance attended each meeting; these two departments will ultimately decide whether and when to approve or reject 19b-4 and S-1.
