ChainCatcher News, according to Golden Ten Data, U.S. stocks fell at the open on Thursday, signaling that the four-day winning streak may be coming to an end. Carol Schleif, Chief Investment Strategist at BMO Private Wealth, stated that the government reopening is a "positive" for the market. If the government resumes operations and economic data starts to be released, market volatility in the coming weeks would not be surprising. Traders have shifted their focus to the December Federal Reserve meeting, reducing bets on central bank rate cuts.
